A commodity must submit a petition to the USDA-Foreign Agricultural Service and meet the criteria for certification to become an Approved TAA Commodity. To learn more about the petition process visit the TAA Overview page.

 

 

Approved Commodities

All approved commodities are listed here.  Select a commodity to access all the information needed to participate in TAA Technical Assistance training.  Training is the focus of TAA for Farmers.  Upon completion of training and development of a business plan participants are eligible to receive up to $12,000 in payments.  Application and training deadlines are provided for each commodity along with complete training schedules.  To learn more select a commodity below.
